Purpose
Our purpose
The Instituto de Excelencia Europea was created with the purpose of being a meeting point for the different agents interested in strengthening and consolidating excellence as the foundation of organisational management and personal development. It specialises in management excellence, EFQM Model training, innovation models, EFQM assessments, EFQM seals and advanced management and good-practice routes.
Vision
To be a reference for organisations and people committed to excellence and to sharing knowledge, experience and good management practice.
Values

How it is managed.

01

Ethical and responsible behaviour

Transparency: no management practice or result under an opaque lens.

02

Commitment to collaborators

Fairness: a just management framework with equal opportunities.

03

Team talent

Professionalism: management references who lead in their field.

04

Service and results orientation

Satisfied clients and tangible improvement on their continual-improvement path.

What it does

Three activities.

01

High-level workshops

Working sessions with management teams on excellence, strategy and change management. Workshop format: the work is done on the participant's real organisation, not on third-party cases.

02

High-level audits

External assessment of management maturity, beyond compliance with a single standard. Contrasted against documentary evidence, with a diagnosis of strengths, areas for improvement and strategic levers.

03

Stewardship of the MAGIC® Model

The Institute creates and develops the MAGIC® Model —Advanced Model of Management, Innovation and Change— and manages its application, assessment and certification.

04

Since 2014, from Madrid

A meeting point to strengthen and consolidate excellence in the management of organisations and the development of people.

MAGIC Model
MAGIC® Model

A European framework for organisational excellence.

MAGIC® is a self-assessment and transformation framework that helps organisations measure their maturity, discover their potential and deploy a strategy consistent with their purpose. It is not a standard to comply with: it is a mirror in which the organisation looks at itself in order to grow.

7
Strategic criteria
Purpose and strategy · Culture and leadership · Talent · Partners and suppliers · Customers · Sustainability and social responsibility · Operations and transformation.
1000
Maturity points
The seven criteria are weighted by relevance and add up to an objective score out of 1000, supported by verifiable evidence and comparable over time.
360°
Systemic view
A four-phase cycle: self-assessment, diagnosis, action plan and continuous improvement. Each reassessment recalculates the matrix and shows where to focus next.
