The Instituto Europeo de Blockchain y DeFi exists to bring the crypto world to people and organisations "through the front door": consulting and training at every level in blockchain and finance. Its fields of work are blockchain and crypto networks, cryptocurrencies and decentralised finance, and tokenisation projects, from core concepts to project support.

Blockchain training

Training and outreach programmes on distributed ledger technology: fundamentals, crypto-assets, smart contracts and real use cases. For management teams who need to decide and technical profiles who need to build.

Support in designing decentralised architectures: network choice, smart contracts, custody models and integration with the systems the organisation already runs.

Decentralised finance

Analysis and outreach on DeFi protocols —lending, liquidity provision, staking— focused as much on how they work as on their risks: counterparty, liquidity, smart contract and volatility.

Asset tokenisation

Representing real assets as tokens: what can be tokenised, with what structure, and how it fits the European crypto-asset framework (MiCA) and the applicable tax treatment.
